Ready-made reading glasses can be purchased from pharmacy or optical stores specializing in prescription glasses or even a department store. These glasses are inexpensive and come in varying shapes and designs. But a major drawback of ready-made prescription glasses is that same in both lenses, and the location of the optical center of the lenses is not customized for each wearer. Most people do not have the same in both eyes, and almost everyone has at least a small amount of astigmatism correction in their prescriptions.
