Default How to adjust segment height for multi-focal presciption glasses?

Last week, i bought one pair of prescription glasses with progressive lenses and metal full rim frames from the online optical shop. When i received the glasses and tried them on, i found the segment height of the reading area is too low which makes me quite uncomfortable. So i write letter to the company i bought my glasses, they told me that i can adjust the segment height by adjusting the nose-pads. How can i adjust? Please help me!

Commonly, most people select the option -Higher up on your nose. If the eyeglass frame you used is almost touching your forehead, please choose this option- All the way up on your nose. Meanwhile, Lower down on my nose if frame is middle of your nose. So, the technician will adjust the segment height depending on your choice.

Thumbs up

here, in order to find out the best wearing position for customers as each of them is unique, we recommend our customers undertake following self-adjustments.

If you find the near segment (reading zone for near) is a bit lower than you expected, please push the nose pads slight closer to raise the eyeglasses.

If you find the near segment (reading zone for near) is a bit higher than your expectation, please push the nose pads apart slightly to lower the eyeglasses.
