Need suggestions for buying kids eyeglasses!

I found it is really tough to choose eyeglasses for kids, as the appearance of their parents or older brothers and sisters wearing sets an example for them, such as retro-styled ovals, plastic frames in elongated rectangular shapes, and even those titanium frames, but I don't love those styles of design, as they make kids looked more sophisticated, so, what do you think is the best choice for today's kids wearing?
