Sun-Blocking Contact Lenses?

I have heard that there are such contact lenses that can protect our eyes from the UV. I am tired of wearing sunglasses. Friends all think I am unsuitable to wear eyeglasses for I have tried many style glasses and they all say I am more beautiful without glasses. So it is really a good news for me. Has anyone tried this kind contact lenses? Do they work?
